A Computer Genius in Dartmouth is the worst place I have ever done business with. Also the owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life. I will never refer anyone there. Wish I had read the reviews and listened to warnings that were given to me. So disappointed.

A Computer Genius in Dartmouth is the worst decision you will make. You know, I wish I had done more research on this place before I took my laptop there. Every review written says three things: this guy treats customers rudely, he doesn't guarantee his work, he rips people off. I couldn't agree with all three things more. I took my laptop there, he fixed it and it wasn't working again in a week. I took it back and got yelled and sworn at. He refused to refund me any money and blamed it on me. I know enough technically about computers to understand exactly what was being said in the jargon--and I know that it wasn't my fault. Then, because he didn't properly fix my laptop the first time, it overheated and fried. So now, I had to buy a new one and I'm out the money that he didn't refund me. I have no idea how this guy Norm keeps his business running--but my best guess is that it'll be shut down within five years. I always try to support small business--but seriously, go to Best Buy or somewhere instead. You may pay a little more, but at least they will guarantee their work and there's a higher level to file a complaint if they don't. And at the very least, they'll be professional, treat you with kindness and respect and won't yell and swear at you.
