Dr. Chekemian earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, before completing her master’s and doctorate degrees in osteopathic medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She continued her medical training in Philadelphia, where she finished her residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. As a skilled pain management specialist, Dr. Chekemian uses evidence-based approaches for all types of pain treatment and is also active in pain management research.
