James Askew has been in the private practice of law since 1980. He is trained as a Family Law mediator. He has handled numerous cases before the Louisiana Supreme Court including State vs William Earl Powdrill which involved having declared unconstitutional several sections of the Louisiana Securities Law and James L. Clark vs State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company which decision enlarged the grounds for interruption of the abandonment statute.
