I love taking care of cancer patients; each patient presents with unique and challenging problems. My responsibility as a physician is to make sure I have provided my patients with the best treatment options about their cancer or tumor and to help them make the difficult decisions that may affect their lives. When approaching a patient, my philosophy is to treat him or her as if they were a family member with empathy, compassion and expertise. My goal is always to cure the disease, but when faced with an incurable problem, I am prepared to shift my focus to relieving suffering.
