My Husband and I originally signed with another company and when the movers arrived to pack our things into the crate the size of the crate was grossly underestimated. We immediately cancelled with that mover feeling as though we were being played in order to increase the price. I went on the Internet ASAP and Best Movers of America was the first call that I made and I spoke with Debra who was very helpful and emailed me a form to provide us and estimate ASAP. The estimate seemed fair so we scheduled the pick up from our home to be delivered to our new home. The moving truck was a 20 mins late but that was no problem. Needless to say I was terrified. I took pictures and noted everything that took place during the packing. After they left I realized that the Inventory list only had One of my room size rugs listed on it so I immediately began calling Customer Service. I never got a return phone call until I researched the company deeper and found the owners phone number, guess what?? He did call me back and i emailed to him the corrected inventory list and our shipment arrived next day and the movers were absolutely professional and very thorough. They were very concerned about pleasing us and we tipped them VERY nicely because things turned out much better than we expected!!!

6/22/12 - I used Best Movers of America and had a horrific experience. I was told they would put pads down to protect the floors, I was told they would disassemble and reassemble anything needed to move. The driver told me they were movers and that they don’t do that. Everything that was coming off the truck had scratched and dings. As they moved items into the house they chipped the brand new wood floors that had just been installed. They left large scratches and marks in the drywall on our second floor. I called the customer service department and they proceeded to call the driver who then came in and verbally attacked my wife and I, stating I am the f*$&ing manager and what was I thinking trying to go over his head. They are sales people, not customer service. He then said to his workers, take 5 hours to unload and we will milk them for more money, I don’t care. They left our master bedroom dresser on its side in the kitchen, the mattress in the garage along with half of our sectional couch. The driver said, I am not helping these people or doing them any favors after they tried to get me in trouble. I finally asked the other guys to please just put the boxes in the garage that I would figure it out later, I wanted this horrific experience to be over. I called and spoke with the office and they said they couldn’t do anything that their hands were tied and that the owner of the company will be calling me on Monday (yesterday) and still have not heard from him. I have called and left messages (emails & voicemails) for their office and have not heard back from anyone. In all of this one of the guys in the crew did come up to my wife and apologize and asked her if she was ok since she been crying and so upset over the damage to our house, furniture and being verbally attacked. Overall this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any kind or service, moving or not.

Stay Away from this company, there is a reason they are not accredited with the BBB.

I have used this company twice and this is by far the best moving company in the area. Annie was extremely helpful and professional and the moving staff for both of my experiences were friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking to move. You will be extremely pleased, just like I was. As long as this company is in business, I will continue to use their services.

They did an outstanding professional job and their movers were quick as a team like hard working machines. They moved my 3 bedroom house in under 3 hours. I was really amazed and I wasent disappointed in their service. You can rely on them to get your move done professionally and efficiently just like promised. Nothing was damaged or broken. I recommend these guys because they are the best movers and the best to work with.
