$Dr. Pontius is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, arthroscopy, fracture trauma and sports medicine. Dr. Pontius has been active in sports medicine on the community level, acting as the Team Physician for a local high school for many years. He also served as the Team Physician for the San Antonio Grand Prix and assisted Dr. Jack Henry as Team Physician for the San Antonio Spurs and the San Antonio Missions.$

Dr. Geoffrey M. Millican brings to South Texas, the absolute latest surgical techniques and treatment options in the field of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Michael is a graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas Southwestern Medical School with a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at The University of Iowa. He also has board certification in Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Michael has been practicing Hand Surgery in San Antonio since 1991. He grew up in Dallas, Texas. He and his wife, Lori, have three children and one grandchild.
