Corrib Pub in Brighton, Boston was once our favourite weekend diners. My husband & I were having our usual weekend dinner @ 6pm. My husband ordered prime rib, I ordered my usual dish Lobster Raviolis & Tender Loin. The restaurant was full but not busy. My husband's prime rib was perfect. However, my tender loin was burnt which I ordered Medium. Our waitress came to check and quickly excuse herself and never came back. I felt that I didn't have chance to really voice my feeling about my dish. While a different waitress clearing our table, my husband mentioned about the burnt meat. She didn't apology but stated would notify our waitress. When our waitress came to drop off our check, didn't apologize nor acknowledge of burnt meat. We are very disappointed and felt being disserviced and insulted. It is sad to say that Corrib Pub was once our favorite neighborhood restaurant. We usually walk the restaurant on Fri or Sat. From now on, we will have to drive to Chestnut Hill for our weekend dinner instead of 10 minutes walk to Corrib Pub.

I remember the Corrib and Joey's and I remember Johnnie! We were there at the same time! I remember Joe and his brother Danny. Joey's softball team hung out at Joey's and the Corrib. Back in the late 80's we hung out there every weekend. I was one of the nannies. Seeing Johnnie's review definitely brings back some fun memories! If you read this again, Johnnie, Hi! from Missouri!! Those were the days!!

Oh My God!!! I so remember hanging out here all the time. I was a regular at this pub back in the 80's. My name is Johnnie and I worked as a Travel Agent for Brighton Travel, so I ate lunch here alot during the week. Wonderful place to eat. I dated this guy from Belfast, Northern Ireland named Joe and we hung out here A LOT! All my friends hung out here as well as The Cozy AKA Joey's Bar which was only a few steps away from The Corrib. Those were the days! I have some very fond memories of The Corrib. Now I am back in Louisiana and would love to just go hang out there one more time on a Friday night and listen to Sweet Caroline on the jukebox!
