Dave DellGrottaglia from DELLS PLUMBING WILL RIP YOU OFF.I placed a service call with Dell’s Plumbing to fix a toilet leak. The plumber called the tenant before coming and asked if a sink needed to be fixed as well. The tenant told him NO, and asked to fix the toilet ONLY. Since no one was home to overlook the work, the plumber fixed other items that were NOT BROKEN. He installed a new faucet in the bathroom and new sprayer in the kitchen. First, these items were working fine and did NOT need to be replaced. Second, the plumber fixed these items on his own without the owner’s or tenant’s consent. A reminder: the plumber was asked to fix the toilet leak only. I called Dell’s Plumbing and spoke the owner DAVE DELLGROTTAGLIA telling him that his plumber performed additional work that was not ordered and not needed. I requested not to be charged for the work that I didn’t ask for. Dave put through the charge of $603 anyway. In the bill he wrote that it took the plumber 2.25 hours to fix the toilet and 2.5 hours to replace a spray head and faucet. According to the bill, Dave’s plumbers were working for almost 5 hours total. And he overcharged me on parts as well. An estimate from another plumber for the same work was $150 including parts and labor. And Dave charged me $603. You do the math. Dave DellGrottaglia from DELLS PLUMBING is unprofessional and WILL RIP YOU OFF.
