Downtown Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. Adults can receive MAT for an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioid drugs at our center, which is located in Portland, Oregon. Medication-assisted treatment is a form of outpatient care that involves prescriptions to help manage withdrawal symptoms associated with stopping the use of opioids. MAT at Downtown Portland CTC involves a prescription for Vivitrol, Subutex, Suboxone, or methadone. Additionally, adults receive counseling to address behavioral health concerns that may be contributing to their struggle with opioid use.
