Dr. Wellwood is one of a handful of dually-licensed Chiropractor-Nurse Practitioners in the United States, while being one of a few hundred providers with advanced training in all manners of Regenerative Medicine. While his specialty is NeuroMusculoSkeletal (the effects of nerve, muscle, bone, joint issues on the body as a whole) conditions and interventional treatments (injection therapies), he has a passion for a whole-person approach and has completed internships and advanced training in internal medicine and family practice.
