I knew I needed good help real fast when I got pulled over for drunk driving as I was driving around in Van Nuys on my way from a friend's party. The cop claimed I was drunk, which I think had more to do with the fact that it was 2 in the morning on a Saturday night, in my opinion. I was driving fast, but that doesn't mean I was intoxicated. Maybe they needed to fill a quota, I don't know. Whatever the reason, I needed to call a good DUI lawyer in L.A. After my friend picked me up at the station, she recommended that I call Dan Smith from DS Criminal Law Group. She had heard good things about him, since he had represented her brother for a meth charge and got them dismissed. Plus he's a former prosecutor who's known for defending DUIs, so I thought my friend might be right. I hired him right away, and he definitely did a good job. It was completely drama free process, much to my relief. I did get worried at one point, but fortunately it all worked out because the charges were dropped.
