On the phone, they told me $25 + labor starting at $40. When they arrived they told me $90 for labor, even though it would be 10 minutes work. It did in fact take 10 minutes. They really had no excuse for this change and stuck with it even though I told them I would leave a bad review.

Fake reviews and map listing One of the people who has reviewed this company with a 5 star rating is the same person who edits the listing. Hmmm...the use of bad grammar and fake reviews, definitely a company you should work with...

Bait & Switch Company. They quote really low prices over the phone, then change the pricing on site and significantly overcharge you. They are not "Real Locksmiths" as the feedback below indicates and they do not have a location at 908 NE 47th as their listing indicates. They do not drive marked vehicles or wear any type of uniforms. In fact, they usually work out of un-marked passenger cars. Furthermore, If you asked one of these guys with a heavy foreign accent for a Green Card, they probably could not produce one. This is not a company that you want to do business with.

These A-Holes tried to rip me off!! Came out to my house to rekey 3 deadbolts and tried to charge me $600.00!! I told them no F-ing way then they said $300.00, then $250.00. I told them to get lost and called a reputable company who charged me under $150.0 and gave me 5 free keys. These guys will screw you if you let them, thats their game. I would never hire this company or reccommend them to anyone. Just dont call them, Period!!

WARNING!! This is not a legitimate company and they will rip you off. They are part of a nationallocksmith scam that is happening all across America. These companies are notorious for taking advantage of vulnerable people who have been locked out of their car, home or business. They falsely advertise and quote low prices for their services then when they get to your location, they change the pricing most often OVER-CHARGING CUSTOMERS BY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!! To make matters worse, most of them are not even American citizens!! BEWARE!!!

This guy screwed me over when I got locked out of my car. It took him over an hour to get to me, not the 15 minutes he promised. Showed up in an unmarked car, then he charged me $185.00 to open my old ford van. (over three times the price he quoted me on the phone) Then he made me pay cash, gave me a generic receipt with a fake address, the whole deal. This guy is a total thief and should be in prison!

Another Scammer Company!! Was locked out of my car and found these guys on line. They quoted me $15 to come out and $25 for the labor. However, when their guy showed up to unlock my car, he charged me an additional $125 because my car was hard to open. (took him 3 minutes!!!) Total charges were $165.00!!! I feel like I got ripped off by these jerks. Went to the business address the list to talk to them about the inflated rate and learned that it is a bogus address with no locksmith doing business there. Boy did I get screwed!! They must write their own positive reviews or the rest of these reviewers below are a bunch of suckers! Would never use this fake company again

Crooks!!!!!!! I got the same shafting as Amanda, Skeeter, and others. The guy made me wait in the cold for 40 minutes after I locked myself out of my house, then gave this long explanation of how difficult my lock would be to get into, and said $280 plus the $25 call charge. Of course at that point, I've been locked out of 1.5 hours, had appointments I had to get to and based on his explanation of the level of difficulty, I agreed to pay the $305. Then the crook got out an old fashioned lock pick and it took him literally 10 seconds to open the door! I hope you all have disputed any charges if you paid by credit card. As one reviewer said, the address isn't even legit. I have looked up the secretary of state business registration website and there is no record of Mike's Locksmith at that address.

"Bait & Switch Operation!! Beware of these guys as they are not a real company and they do not have a business located at the address they list on 6th Avenue. They are part of a nation wide locksmith ring who are ripping people off all across America. They quote low prices for their service then when the technician arrives, he jacks up the price 3 or 4 times the original quote, then they force you to get money from a cash machine. Their favorite targets are women and elderly folks who are locked out of their car, home or business. BEWARE OF THESE THEIVES!!
