My roommate and I made what we now understand was a lose-lose attempt to find a no-fee apartment on our own, and completely failed. After searching on Yelp, I found Ideal Properties Group… luckily! LIterally our first day out with the agent from Ideal, Ilia, we found the perfect apartment. Best of all, the space was exclusively listed with Ideal Properties Group, and Ilia and the landlord had a great rapport. The fee was reasonable, and Ilia has always responded promptly. Very efficient transaction, all in all.

My move-in day is this Memorial Day weekend, and so far everything has gone remarkably smoothly with my apartment rental in Gowanus. I couldn't recommend Rashida and Ideal Properties Group enough!

James Guimaraes was honestly - fantastic! He made me feel at ease and I just knew I was in good hands for my studio rental though I presented him with an impossibly short timeline over a holiday weekend. On a personal level, James has an amazing sense of humor, while on the professional side he goes above and beyond to make sure that his clients get exactly what they're looking - at least he sure did exactly that for me. He worked well into the night, three nights in a row, and not completely exceeded my expectations of a New York City broker, but also my expectations of what is possible to be found and rented here.
