About us

I am a web designer in Salt Lake City, Utah. All of my sites are published with Adobe Muse but I use a mixture of adobe applications to make the final product. In addition to Adobe Muse, I have experience in Adobe Photoshop & Edge Animate. I am self taught and I have run out of Muse tutorials to watch.

Everyone's needs are different so I don't have flat rates on prices. With that said, I'm not going to tell you to contact me without giving you a general idea of what the cost might be. On average, the cost of a site is usually around $500 but it depends on the content and features in the site. If you would like to get a quote please go to my page and click "Quote"

I offer the following services to clients:

Site Duplication:

This option would be for anyone with an existing site no longer has a coder working for them or someone that wants their site to be redesigned.

Adobe Muse was basically built for designers and not coders. This means if you have an existing site built from code, I do not offer to build on top of the existing code. By duplicating the site, it gives me much more control over the part that I do best which is design. Once I have recreated the site in Muse, I am then able to design the site in a way that gives the owner more control over the site through something known as In-Browser Editing. This allows the client to adjust text and images with the peace of mind that they will not hard the design of their site.

Site Modernization:

Site modernization and duplication both assume that you already have an existing site. Modernization means taking all of the content from the existing site, and recreating it into something that looks like it belongs in this century. What I like about these projects is that it forces me to look deeper into what makes a site 'modern' and what is a thing of the past.

Here are a few things that you're bound to find in a majority of modern sites:

* Smoked glass
* Soft colors
* Lowercase logos
* Simplicity

Brand New Site:

Brand new sites are obviously totally different than the first two projects because it requires a lot more creativity. I never want to make similar to a site I've designed before so I push myself to think of something totally different. While I may use a certain widget on more than one site,the actual structure and design of the site is never similar to a previously made site.

Features That Come With Every Site:

* Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - All sites I design will have all images and text tagged correctly. If this is not done, search engines can't tell exactly what they're looking and any In-Browser Editing would eventually cause the design to turn into a mess.

In addition, if you would like Google Analytics on your site, I will get this set up for you as well. If you don't know what Google Analytics is, just click here to watch a 2 minute video to see if it would be something you'd be interested in. By the way, it's free.

Lastly I also provide keyword, description, location and author tags. As long as the content is something that people are interested in, all of the above will a huge leg up when being ranked on Google, Bing or Yahoo.

* A Link To A The Live Preview Of Your Site - While I'm working on a site, for both of our sakes, I want to know if I'm heading in the right direction. This saves a lot of potentially wasted time of designing a product that doesn't come close to what you imagined.

* All Major Social Media Share Widgets - When you have your new site, you want people to be able to share it with everyone right? You'll be able to do this with just about any major social media network.

Extra Features I Offer:

* Parallax Scrolling/Interactive Design - This is a very eye catching and memorable design feature for your site if it is done right. It makes the site almost seem alive or can give your page a 3d effect.

* Mobile & or Tablet Optimization - This just means that when your site is viewed on a phone & or tablet, the site will automatically readjust the layout to best fit the device.

* Blog - Blogging can definitely be done in Adobe Muse and I recommend doing it in one of 3 ways.

1.
1. Via Adobe Muse - (this is only recommended if you plan on learning Adobe Muse).
2. Via Business Catalyst - Business Catalyst is going to be the more powerful one of the three just because of the level of comparability with Adobe Muse. With this option, you do have to host your site with Business Catalyst's Web Marketing option which is $16.99 a month when paid yearly.
3. Via Nabble - This is a free and simple option and does not require any specific site hosting.

* E-commerce - There are quite a few options for e-commerce which cover everything from physical items to digital downloads.

* Privacy Policy - If you have an existing site with a privacy policy, already in place, ignore this part because the privacy policy will be transferred with all your of your existing content.

If you are creating a new site or want to have your privacy policy rewritten, I can do this for you and my privacy policies are very extensive. Click here or here to see examples.
