Jennifer Tamai, M.D.

About us

Dr. Jennifer Tamai was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a graduate of Punahou School and University of California, San Diego, she went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at LAC + USC Medical Center in Southern California. After finishing residency, she completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She is currently Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Dr. Tamai’s areas of interest include colon cancer screening, colon cancer prevention, esophageal and stomach disorders, as well as other gastrointestinal disorders. She specializes in performing upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, polyp detection, and removal.
