Jessica Anne McCarrick, MD

Jessica McCarrick, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist with Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health. She specializes in general medical and surgical dermatology services, including dermatology care for people of color. She is fluent in English and conversational Spanish.Before joining Miami Cancer Institute in 2022, Dr. McCarrick worked at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilmington, DE, helping veterans from a three-state area. Dr. McCarrick completed her dermatology residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. During this time, she also served as the administrative chief resident in dermatology at Washington D.C.’s VA Medical Center. Through extensive research in her field, Dr. McCarrick demonstrates her commitment to excellence. Her research contributions can be found in a variety of publications, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has also presented her research more than 10 times to the Washington D.C. Dermatological Society.Through her work, Dr. McCarrick strives to treat every patient with the most individualized care possible. She understands that dermatological conditions can be socially, mentally and physically distressing. She offers exceptional culturally sensitive care to all her patients. In her free time, Dr. McCarrick enjoys dancing, listening to music and a little lazy gardening.
