Melissa Galvin, PA-C, ATC
Melissa Galvin is a surgical physician assistant with AHN Orthopaedic Institute, specializing in orthopaedic surgery. She is skilled at performing joint and soft tissue injections, orthopaedic evaluations, post-operative care, and aiding in the operating room with patient setup, prepping, and surgical assistance.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and her Master of Science in the Physician Assistant Studies Program from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Melissa is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She has worked at various health centers with a focus in sports medicine, rehabilitation, athletic training, and physical therapy.
