We understand the unique and powerful bond you share with your pet. When you and your pet visit Met Vet, that understanding guides us every step of the way. We take the time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and explain your pet’s treatment options. We began as After Hours Animal Emergency Hospital, providing emergency care to sick or injured pets during evening, weekend and holiday hours. Met Vet’s growth and success was no accident. From the beginning, combining service and convenience in ways that meet your needs and exceed your expectations shaped our philosophy of care. Our approach to care, and caring, for pets struck a chord with our clients, who depended on us and asked us for more comprehensive services. It wasn’t long before we were expanding to meet their need for one-stop veterinary care. That commitment to care and service remains the foundation of our success. It’s the reason why Met Vet grew steadily as pet owners welcomed our client-centered focus. And it’s the reason why, as we continue to expand, we add only doctors, veterinary nurses and client service specialists who share our philosophy of care that puts your and your pet’s needs first.

Met Vet- Robinson in Pittsburgh is awful. Doctors were great but ofice staff is terrible. They ignore you when you come in in lieu of whatever else they may be doing and then it takes you longer to pay and leave than it did to be seen by the doctor. Terrible cutomer service and ridiculous waiting times. We have gone with our dogs several times out of convenience and each time there has been some issue. They also charge as much as $20 for a tiny bit of Benadryl (for a 19 lb dog)! Doctors were fabulous, but there are good vets at places with better operrations/administrative staff. We are done with them. Unless you have a dire emergency I recommend going elsewhere.
