Frank and Jackie Prelgovisk established Mid-Maine Marine in 1986. Frank's career in the marine business began as a technician for Hancock's Marine on the New Meadows River in Brunswick, Maine, in 1959. Ten years later, he established Frank's Marine Service in Bath, Maine. Frank became a partner in The Longreach Company in Bath in 1972. Longreach is where his son, Garret, began learning the marine trade. When Frank sold Longreach in 1984, he realized his dream of opening a marine dealership in the Belgrade Lakes Region.
