Mike's Hobbies & Raceways

I tried this shop 3 times. Every time I found the staff/owner to be rude to myself as well as to my wife when she went in to pick up an ordered item. She said she would never go back. I will never go back either. Hobby shop prices are expected to be higher then "on-line" shops, but Mike's prices are far more than anywhere else. He sold a part to me that he guaranteed would fit my son's rotostart only to find out it didn't fit and we had to drive another 45 min. back to the shop and another 45 min. home a week later after the right shaft came in (cost more in gas than the part). He didn't even apologize for his mistake. If you live in the Rutland area, you are better off ordering on-line until someone else opens a consumer friendly hobby shop. I now shop in Claremont or Lebanon, NH.
