Milton Family Practice has been caring for patients since 1978, and as of June 1, 2011 we have moved to our new location at the Red Mill Center, 16529 Coastal Highway, one mile north of the Nassau Bridge in Lewes, DE, on Coastal Hwy, (RT 1). We now see adult patients 18 and over and are well known for caring for diabetic patients and their many problems. Our two providers are: Charles G. He started Milton Family Practice in 1978, and at one time had offices in Camden, Milford and Milton. But since then has decided to centrilize in the Milton geographical area. Dr. Wagner has been involved in many things, some but not all of his list of accomplishments include: 1. An original founder of Principal Health Services of Delaware. 2. You may see the Bear Chaser. No, Dr. Wagner does not chase bears across the country, it is a customized van, outfitted to launch and retrieve Della Bear. Her main responsibilities are to insure all of our patients information is correct at check in and to schedule appointments. Tina, is our very efficient Check-out person. Patients will see her after their visit with their provider, Tina will perform all the responsibilities of check out such as referrals, scheduling specialist appointments, and scheduling follow up appointments and posting the medical codes into the computer for Milton Family Practice. Patti and Karen, our two reliable Nurses, will bring patients back to the clinical rooms and obtain their medical information and perform other procedures at the providers request. Patti, a LPN, has worked with us for many years and is well known in the Sussex community. Karen, is from the Philippines and has lived in Sussex County and worked for Milton Family Practice also for many years. Both of our nurses, besides what you see when you are in for a visit, have a larger, behind the scenes responsibility of insuring medical orders are carried out, such as prescription refills, lab and imaging reports filed in charts, and their very important responsibility of talking to and answering questions of our patients. Helen is our kind filing clerk and works part time during the week, she has lived in the Georgetown area for many years and does the very important job of placing information in our charts and filing them back were they belong.
