San Diego native, Mick Baca began his career humbly washing golf carts. He worked his way up the ranks at the golf course quickly by proving he was a hard worker and dedicated to becoming a success. While attending San Diego State, his work ethic caught the eye of one of the course members who offered him a job as a financial advisor at a prestigious company.

After a poor experience with a nationally owned mobile repair company, Baca searched to find a fast and affordable alternative to no avail. That’s when he decided to open his own shop Mobile Tech, a computer and cell phone repair store. Mobile Tech’s mission is to provide high value repairs, at reasonable prices, and speedy turn around on all services. In addition to cell phone and computer repairs they also offer in home assistance on anything technology based, such as home theater installation and specially built computers.

Baca’s commute to this East Village storefront is simple he takes the elevator down from his condo located in the same building. Living and working locally has allowed for positive word of mouth referrals from residents who have had service repairs by Baca’s team. They plan to expand to at least two more store fronts in the future, for now he and his team are busy giving above average work at affordable pricing to San Diego residents.
