My family and I have been learning Tae Quan Do at Muhan for about five months and we all love it.
The school trains all ages so it is very family friendly. The classes are fun and challenging. Sometimes they have the kids play games that teach things like balance, reaction time, and agility. They also teach body mechanics (for instance I learned why Jackie Chan turns his head to the side when he falls). They have movie nights and picnics so you aren't just joining a martial arts school you are joining a community.
The best part of the school is the instructors. They are not only amazing martial artists, they are also excellent teachers. They don't just teach kicking and punching they teach their students to be good martial artists. They will test your limits and guide you past them, they will ask you to become a better person, and your new found abilities will give you confidence. My family and I love the school, we would go every day if we could.

I've been attending Mu Han Martial Arts for aprox. 5 years. I started as a no-belt with no confidence in myself and am currently working on my 2nd degree blackbelt. Recently I was injured in an activity not involving the school, but Master Oh, owner of Mu Han Martial Arts, and the other instructors have been helping me regain my Martial Arts training at a pace that is workable for me. I am very happy to be able to still train with my classmates. The instructors at Mu Han are dedicated to each student, no matter your physical limitations. Mu Han Martial Arts is not only about kicking and punching, it's about reaching your limits and then breaking them. It's about learning to have confidence in yourself and showing that confidence in your technique. No matter your belt color or experience, once you join Mu Han, you're part of our family.

I visited several area martial arts schools with my son before deciding on MuHan. What made the difference? Master Oh, the owner and operator. His dedication to every single youth and adult student makes it feel like a 1 on 1 experience each and every class. He has, in turn, seamlessly transferred his spirit of excellence to all of his instructors. If you want to learn what it's like to train your mind and body in the true martial artist way to enhance your life, check out MuHan. You'll break personal barriers, achieve goals you never thought possible, eat better, sleep better and even work better. Sounds cliche but it really comes true. After 4 years and hundreds of classes between my son and myself, I feel blessed that I found MuHan.
