About us

My Wellness Psychiatry is an outstanding mental health practice in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Diana Perez-Nunez, MSN, AAPRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, takes a holistic, patient-centered, and integrative approach to treating mental health problems in adults, focusing on conservative treatments.

Diana is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and received her master's degree from Chamberlain University and her post-masters certificate in Psychiatry from Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She is double board-certified as a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. 

Diana specializes in motivational interviewing and treating depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), insomnia, bipolar disorder, and other common mental health conditions.

My Wellness Psychiatry uses GeneSight® genetic testing to determine which medications are likely the best for a patient’s genetic makeup. Treatment options include psychotherapy, substance abuse treatment, medication management, and lifestyle-change counseling. The practice welcomes patients on the weekends and evenings by appointment. 

Diana is fluent in English and Spanish. She has the education and training needed to improve patient mood, relationships, focus, and overall quality of life. She tailors each treatment plan to help patients thrive in their environment and encourages holistic integration of diet and exercise for improved mental health.
