A small group of actors started The Mystery Café in Boston in 1986. These actors were the pioneers of the performance style now commonly referred to as interactive dinner theater (which simply means that the audience becomes part of the play). Today, The Mystery Café remains the Americas’ Original Interactive Comedy Dinner Theater.
