Shanker Dixit, MD, is an experienced neurologist at Neurology Center of Las Vegas. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Dixit earned his undergraduate degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He graduated with his Doctorate in Medicine from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, New Delhi, India. He completed his neurology residency, fellowship in clinical neurophysiology, and fellowship in clinical stroke at the University of Wisconsin Health University Hospital.
He is board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He has held the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine in the neurology division for the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Regional Director for the Veterans Administration Parkinson’s Disease Research Center, and Medical Director for the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Sunrise Hospital.
Dr. Dixit is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and a member of the Clark County Medical Society. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor in Las Vegas from 2014-2017.
