In addition to customized preventive care and Heartwise preventive screening tests, New Tampa Internal Medicine Associates provides innovative management for chronic diseases including allergies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart disease, and diabetes. They offer comprehensive allergy testing, whole-body cardiovascular health screening, and a wide range of other preventive health screening services.
Dr. Farooqui leads New Tampa Internal Medicine. Dr. Farooqui graduated from the University of Chicago before studying medicine at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He served his internship in internal medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Farooqui speaks several languages, including English, Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi.
