Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint is the type of place you go when you really want to get a nice set of glasses. You want to talk with people who understand how you're trying to look and have a ton of amazing glasses to meet up with your style. There are so many great things about Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint but the number one is patience of the staff. Many places they just want to push you in a set of glasses and out the door. These guys seriously want to help you and realize that dropping some cash on glasses, to most people, is a big deal. Beyond a great selection, they have great hours. Just check them out.

I'm not a regular customer. I was just passing through Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint because one of the nose pads on my glasses broke off and I wanted to see if they could help fix it. The staff was really nice and offered to help even though it was busy. Not only did she fix it and make the other one match...she fixed a screw that was out of place. This was all free of charge. That was really nice of them and I appreciate their service! :)

Went back in last week to Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint for a check up and found that their frame selection is better than other optical stores i have ever visited. I think they have even more people working there. Dr. Tisdale started exam exactly on schedule and exam was as good and thorough like last time. They have really cool frames - so I bought one really functional yet trendy pair with the help of two beautiful ladies (Agnes & Violet). Needed them for the holidays and they were ready in no time at all. They took my insurance and I am psyched for my friends to see them. I don’t like picking out new glasses but this was a good experience. I'll be back for my shades I bet. Two thumbs up for a store that put the joy back into (my) optical care.

I've been putting off getting new glasses & frame for quite a while - it could be a very time consuming and expensive endeavor. I dread going to many store, looking through tons of so-so looking frames and i was used to a weird look of staff of the optical stores, but at Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint i was not alone who is looking for the frames their staff Agnes & Violet helped me to choose a perfect Rayban glasses, without any weird look like other store's staff they help me with the smile on their face. I had some issues with my prescription, but Agnes handled it smoothly and I am glad i gave Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint a try. Will definitely come back for future glasses need.

The receptionist (Agnes) is very kind and helpful both over the phone and in person. Dr. Tisdale completed my exam at a superb level. I'm telling you because I came down to Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint after this eye exam place in the Upper East Side botched my new prescription. Imagine getting your glasses fixed and being excited to see clearly again and only seeing worse. Dr. Tisdale at Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint saved me. His ability to pay attention to detail had me appreciating that someone else out there was observant, had the ability to listen and then relate to what you have said with a simple solution, which is his practice as a doctor. Incredible! If only I could have these same results from other business the world would turn much smoother. At least for now I can plan on seeing things clearer. Highly recommended from someone very particular about things.

I went Optical Warehouse of Greenpoint for my first exam and new glasses fitting in a few years and I was very impressed with the quality and customer service. Dr. Tisdale's exam was thorough and efficient. I had some sort of odd reaction to the drops used for the glaucoma test after an hour or two, and Dr. Tisdale told me to come right back and he made sure everything was ok.

My eyes went back to normal after a few hours, and although we still don't know exactly what it was, I felt like he was very responsible, and she gave me a referral for a doctor if I needed more advanced help. One of the sales associates (violet) explained my benefits to me in detail, and another (Agnes) was good at finding frames that would fit my face. They allowed me to steer towards cheaper frames and lenses with a minimal of resistance. Everyone has complimented me on the frames and overall I am very satisfied.
