Call these guys when you need your washing machine repaired. Our Kenmore Washing machine, 90 Series, would not work. Our machine would turn off right after we turned it on, no one could repair it, we were told to throw it away. We spoke with David and we made an appointment. In Los Angeles Paul's Washer and Dryer Repair diagnosed and replaced the timer dial unit on our Fridgidaire stackable washer and dryer. Dave diagnosed the problem over the phone, then sent a staff member out to confirm the problem. We had to wait several days while the part was ordered, but the technician came back out to rig the machine to work temporarily while we waited (at no extra cost). Once the part came in, the technician was prompt, professional and tested the machine to make sure the repair worked correctly.

I have a 23 year old Whirlpool combo washer-dryer. The washing machine spin cycle stopped working, and the dryer vent tore and needed to be replaced. Before joining Angie's List, I had called a number of repair services, but they seemed unfamiliar with my model and I wasn't comfortable with their responses to my questions, nor with the estimates I was getting just to come out and look at it. David at Paul's Washer & Dryer Repair returned my call promptly, got specific info on the machine, and took the time to answer all my questions. We talked about the machine's problems and he gave me a reasonable estimate based on my description of what was happening with it. And then he told me that, at the machine's age, there were many more things likely to go wrong with it in the not-so-distant future, and suggested I'd be better off replacing it rather than repairing it (if I could afford to do so). I really appreciated his honest assessment and recommendation, and will definitely use this company if anything ever happens to the new machine I plan on buying shortly.
