Schodack Self Storage Center in Schodack is to be AVOIDED. I've had nothing but problems with them over the months my possessions have been stored there. I have to drive a long way to get there, and several times I haven't even been able to gain access with my code to open the gate, either because the woman who runs the place didn't update that payment is current, or due to some other glitch with the system that can't even find the account. Since the woman is usually not even there during their business hours, you can't get any help. Incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional! Moreover, our unit has had a water leak in the roof, and recently I went in to sort my things and found that a cat had been in there and urinated on and in boxes and furniture since they've been in storage, causing me to have to throw many things out. I think for $95 a month the least I can expect is for my items to be kept SAFE. In my dealings with the management (the woman) so far, she has been rude and condescending. Spare yourself the grief and seek alternate storage facilities, is my recommendation.
