• Being a long time resident of Haverhill I was appalled when my mother informed me of how rude she was treated at this store. As a first generation daughter of an Immigrant mother who is now an American Citizen and one who has worked in Haverhill for over 25 years...she was treated with no regard or respect due to her accent. Although my mother s English is not perfect, she managed to ask for help to select a brand of wine...the man behind the counter (who also says he s the store manager) rudely ignored my mother, and when my mother asked again, he looked over her to the next customer and by the third time, he insulted her and advised her to learn English..little did he know my mother understood everything. If you dislike Racism, Prejudice or simply distasteful Customer Service..do not shop at this store!
