Shannon McKeever, MSW, LMSW

About us

Shannon McKeever has been working with Blue Water Counseling since August 2019. She earned her Master's of Social Work Degree from Michigan State University in 2010 and has been working in the mental health field since that time. She has been trained in multiple evidence-based practices, these include but are not limited to: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Assertive Community Treatment, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, and Prolonged Exposure. She has been certified in Exposure and Ritual Prevention through the Cognitive Behavioral Institute. Along with being a Licensed Master’s Social Worker, Shannon is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
