About us
Simple Cremation of Maine is owned and operated by Brookings-Smith. We are an independent locally owned and operated company that has roots in our community.
Brookings-Smith also operates Pine Grove Crematorium where the actual cremation will take place. Many people we serve take comfort knowing that our professional staff sees the cremation process all the way through. If a small gathering or memorial service is desired there is a Remembrance Center at Pine Grove Crematorium that can accommodate up to 40 people.
