Manual therapy and or medical massage is the practice of using touch to manipulate the soft tissue muscles of the body. Clients often seek massage for its medical benefit and for relaxation purposes. There is a wide range of massage treatments available such as soft tissue mobilization, deep tissue, trigger point therapy myofascial release, manual stretching technique, passive range of motion and manual spinal distraction.

Exercise can include stretching to reduce stress on joints, core stability exercises to strengthen the muscles of your trunk (your back and abdomen) and hips, lifting weights to strengthen muscles, walking, biking, and elliptical and many other forms of activity.
