Tessa Marie Asdell, MD

About us

Dr. Asdell received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology as Chief Resident at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She is a highly-skilled OB/GYN surgeon. Dr. Asdell is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Asdell is a long-time southside resident. She attended Roncalli High School and is married to Dr. Steve Asdell, a pediatrician. They have two children, Stephanie and Ben. Her interests include gourmet cooking, traveling, and spending time with her kids and family. She is involved in various volunteer work and attends St. Barnabas Church.
