I hired The Law Office of Jamie N Harris for my husbands case. He was facing a criminal charge and although I believed he was guilty I wanted him to get help and avoid jail. When we first met with Jamie Harris she was honest and did not sugar coat anything. She first suggested that we go to court together without an attorney and see what we could do. She told us the maximum penalty we should accept and she refused to take any payment unless we needed her after the first court date. So we went to court and called Jamie because we were nervous. She walked us thru the first court appearance. The District Attorney did not want to negotiate so we informed the court we were going to hire an attorney and needed more time. Later that day we hired Jamie and in the end all worked out. My husband's case was reduced and all he had to do were some classes and fine. My husband and I were happy that Jamie did not try to take our money like everyone else did at first. She was trying to help us for free and when she couldn't then she gave us a reasonable rate. Jamie Harris won my case. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was at the scene of a crime and not involved at all. I decided to stick around to answer any questions because I thought it was the right thing to do. But that decision blew up in my face. The store clerk pointed me out as one of the criminals and next thing I knew I was being handcuffed. I saw Jamie's ad in the jails and after talking to her and meeting with her (She came to visit me while in custody) I knew she was the person that would help me. Jamie used her investigator and they were able to interview the store clerk. The store clerk admitted the pressure the police put on him and how scared he was. After a few court dates and work by Jamie the DA dismissed my case. I thank Jamie to this day for my freedom. She listened to me and didn't judge me. She visited me in custody numerous times and when I needed to talk, she made a way to talk to me. Thank you Law Office of Jamie Harris for all you did. I highly recommend her and her office.
