I assumed I really could take care of my tax debt personally until I tried it. The IRS wasn't ready to negotiate and it also became a problem to attempt to speak with them about anything. I wish I'd called They earlier basically because they cleaned this tax mess up in 4 weeks with an affordable payment plan the IRS never would have gave me on my own. The IRS would have never given me the deal they did without They representing me. I know that.
