THIEVES! A few months ago, I went there for karaoke and accidentally dropped a roll of cash (about $300) on my way out of the bathroom, which I did not notice until a few minutes later. My friend, who had been waiting in the bar for me, went to the bathroom immediately after I did. As she was going into the bathroom, she observed a security guard picking some money up off the floor. He asked my friend if she had lost the cash, and she said no (unaware of my situation). Then she observed the security guard asking another employee (a kitchen worker) if he lost some, and he said yes (big surprise!), and the guard gave him the cash. Later on that evening, when I noticed that the cash was missing, I mentioned it to my friend, who told me what she had observed in the hallway earlier. When I confronted the security guard about the situation, he said I should talk to the night manager. The night manager told me that the kitchen worker said that he had lost a small roll of $1 bills, and the security guard had given it back to him. Now, I understand most people think finders keepers is fine, but when it's obvious who it belongs to, it's no longer finders keepers. It's theft. And think about it....what are the odds of two people losing money at exactly the same time in exactly the same place? NOT LIKELY. Ticked off, I called the next day and talked to the general manager, and he basically said the same thing. Later, I did a little snooping and figured out what happened. Apparently, the kitchen worker had just lost a family member in Mexico, was low on cash, and everybody felt sorry for him. So either the security guard, night manager, general manager, or all of them conspired to help the kitchen worker keep my $300, or the kitchen worker lied and told them that it was only a few ones in the roll. Either way, I was ripped off by this establishment, and if you are thinking of going there, you should know what kind of people work there.
