Welcome to Brighton

Brighton is a neighborhood in the western parts of Boston, MA, with a thriving, middle-class community with dozens of locally owned businesses, especially within Brighton Center. Prior to the American Revolution, Brighton was called Little Cambridge. It was a farming community with less than 300 residents that seceded from Cambridge, MA in 1807. Today, Brighton is home to part of the Boston College campus and is sometimes referred to as Allston-Brighton. Brighton
