The location is nice, and the drinks/winelist deserve an A. The appetizers were also very good (very tasty, but execution uneven). But the execution of the entrees was pretty bad. My duck was dry... I didn't send it back because I had already sent my appetizer back (there was a piece of plastic in it). The worst part of this experience is the pricing. Sibling Rivalry prices itself like a Michelin starred restaurant, but the food didn't live up to the price. We spent about $45/ea on apps and entrees, and for $45 you ought to get something that makes your mouth water and makes you immune to the price. But, when the food makes you think, "I spent how much?!?" they haven't done their job. Further, the entire "sibling rivalry" think is completely under-executed. It is the central marketing theme of the restaurant, but the execution is half hearted at best. I would go back for a drink and a nosh, but I'd steer clear of a full meal.
I love Sibling Rivalry. Some people say it's overrated i say those peoples opinions are overrated. The food is wonderful. I have never had one thing that was not stellar. Be sure to try the beet and goat cheese salad...quite possibly the best salad in Boston!
