Marketing Internship Position at CitySquares Online, Inc.

CitySquares Online, Inc., a growing Internet company in Boston’s South End, is seeking to fill a part time Marketing Internship Position. In this role, your efforts will focus on creative writing, direct marketing efforts, and other related projects. This internship offers any college student the opportunity to get real, hands-on experience in an Internet startup environment doing real work with measurable results. If you’re a college student studying marketing or public relations than this may be the perfect internship for you.

Responsibilities

The work will primarily include

• Utilizing creative writing on the CitySquares blog, the company’s newsletters, and on the CitySquares.com website.
• Assisting in direct marketing efforts including organization and distribution of promotional materials and coordinating customer campaigns.
• Working on website copy.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate success in prior work, or relevant studies or extra-curricular activities.
• Strong verbal skills and a successful background in writing.
• Knowledge and comfort with technology and web delivered applications, high degree of skill with Microsoft Office.
• Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Must be enthusiastic and a team player.
