About us

Aboorva Sudhakar, M.D. completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Beth Israel/Lahey Health System in Burlington, Massachusetts, and pursued fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Massachusetts/Baystate Medical Center. Following her fellowship, Dr. Sudhakar spent three years working as an endocrinologist in Southern Mississippi, focusing on providing care in underserved areas.

Originally from India, where she completed her medical school training, Dr. Sudhakar has a strong commitment to treating patients from low socio-economic backgrounds and works closely with their insurance providers to ensure they receive the best possible treatment options.

Dr. Sudhakar currently works at MUSC Health Endocrinology Indian Land and Lancaster. As an endocrinologist, Dr. Sudhakar specializes in the management of diabetes, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. With the rise of technology in diabetes care, she takes pride in educating her patients about the latest advancements and therapeutic options. Dr. Sudhakar believes in patient-centered care and making collaborative and informed decisions with her patients to improve their health outcomes.
