Annandale Floors

Image 1 | Annandale Floors Image 2 | Annandale Floors All of these rails were sanded, stained ebony and finished. We put down large stain samples on the floor for the customer to select the one they want. We had to cut 5 different handrail pieces and join them together to make this. All the wrought iron handrails were replaced with new newel posts, handrails and pristine white balusters. This is a new handrail, newel post and balusters we installed in Fairfax, Va. Note that the handrail was stained a contrasting color. We install oak vents that are flush with the floor. They are stained and finished to match the floors. They also have a damper for air flow control. We always put plastic up to protect and keep the contents of the cabinets clean.
A service we always do for our clients. Image 10 | Annandale Floors Image 11 | Annandale Floors Another part of Annandale Floors is that we make slab tables. This piece of Claro Walnut will be either a coffee table or entrance table. Owner helping to measure the angle for cutting. Note the two “deadmen” that are hold up the rail. This is what’s called a wooden rug. It comes in 4 parts that are glued together. Made by Czar Floor in Pa.
