From the top of our mountain you have nearly 360 degree views spanning 30 miles reaching out to the Blue Ridge Parkway. In the valley is a small lake stocked with rainbow trout and open meadows with cold streams. There’s miles of hiking and riding trails, fern forests and majestic views.

If you need to be 5 minutes from town, then you need to check out the big city motels. But, if its adventure, long range mountain views, hiking, fishing and fresh air your seeking, then this is the place.

Horseback riding is our primary offering. At 4000 feet in elevation you may choose from majestic trails with incredible 30 mile views, a valley with creeks and streams, lush fern forests or combinations of them. You have 5 walking trails varying from 45 minutes to 2 hours and a Walk-Trot-Canter ride for the adventurer.

In addition to your trail time, plan another 30 to 45 minutes for a demonstration covering how the horses are trained, safety and horse personality. Next, try your horse out in the ring before you leave. This allows us to change horses for you, if needed, before starting your trail.

You also may enjoy comfortable vacation cabins with a great view of the mountains or horses on their way to work, a fireplace, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room, full kitchen and dining area. Linens and towels are provided for the bed and bath.

All you need to bring are your clothes and food... unless you choose to visit some of the great restaurants only 20-40 minutes away. It’s definitely suited to your family adventure or that romantic getaway for just the 2 of you.

You’ll love having your own personal retreat of 200 acres with horses roaming freely on the farm along with wild turkeys and an abundance of chipmunks, bunny rabbits and squirrels.

Only a mile away is the highest lake east of the Mississippi River, beautiful Lake Glenville. It's an alpine-like lake, with exceptional water quality. There’s over 1400 acres of pristine mountain water with 27 miles of shoreline. You can have an awesome time for the fisherman and boater alike.
