We are introducing the newest generation of Palomar’s state of the art platform for IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), the ICON. My staff and I have been involved with the use of Palomar’s product since the first generation and have unmatched experience with it’s capabilities.
Dr. Whitney is a native of Wilmette, Illinois and graduate (1970) of New Trier High School. He attended Rice University where he was named an Arthur B. Cohn Scholar as an outstanding freshman. He graduated Magna cum Laude (1974) and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa chapter. He then attended the University of Chicago as a federally sponsored Medical Scientist Training Grant recipient and earned his MBA in medical economics (1978) and his MD (1980.)
He then pursued a career in dermatology by doing a medical internship at Michael Reese Hospital (1980-81) followed by residency training at the University of Chicago (1981-84) where he was named chief resident in his last year.
His then accepted a position at the University of Chicago as Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of the Dermatology Clinic (1984-87.) He then went into private practice (1987-present) wherein he founded Medical Surgical Dermatology in Berwyn (1987-present).
