COBITCO Inc. was founded in 1960 and is proud to be the first company to bring asphalt emulsion manufacturing to the Colorado paving industry. COBITCO Inc., makes both regular and polymer modified grades of cationic asphalt emulsions.

COBITCO Inc. is a member of the Asphalt Emulsion Manufacturers Association and is an Associate Member of the Colorado Asphalt Paving Association.

Black Rock Material and Supply acquired the assets of COBITCO in 2025 and will continue to operate the company in the same fashion that it has sustained since 1960.

Black Rock Material and Supply is a subsidiary of A-One Chipseal Co. Established in 1996, A-One Chipseal is a full-service asphalt maintenance and pavement preservation company located in Denver, Colo. Completing numerous projects for various cities, counties and CDOT across the Front Range. A-One Chipseal is designed to provide preventive maintenance construction including resurfacing asphalt streets, roads, parking lots and highways.
