Brian Parúas is a dedicated public servant and experienced attorney running for City Commissioner of District 1 in Hollywood, Florida. A native Floridian and graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Brian has a strong background in public service and law enforcement. He has served as a federal agent for the U.S. Department of Justice and as a Federal Air Marshal with the Transportation Security Administration, protecting the nation’s borders and skies. Brian also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University and has worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Chief Counsel in Miami, prosecuting dangerous criminals.

Currently, Brian is a founding partner at Mager Paruas, PLLC, a law firm in Hollywood, where he focuses on personal injury, crime victim rights, and business litigation. His personal experience overcoming adversity, including surviving a violent attack, fuels his commitment to justice and community advocacy. Brian’s campaign emphasizes his dedication to public safety, justice, and serving the families of District 1 with integrity and experience.
