About us
After completing dual undergraduate bachelor degrees in psychology and biology, Dr. Denise Kirkner-Vourlos earned her medical degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she received the 2006 Resident of the Year award and the 2006 Advanced Robotic Laparoscopic Surgeon of the Year award.Dr. Kirkner-Vourlos delivers babies exclusively at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center. Dr. Kirkner-Vourlos is particularly interested in critical care medicine and high-risk pregnancy.In her free time, she enjoys cycling.
