About us
We are the Swains, a couple with strong roots in our heritage and a love of diversity and travel. While my wife is from the energetic city of New Orleans, I was born and raised in Chicago. Eight years ago, in the quaint summer resort town of New Buffalo, Michigan, we started our adventure in the short-term rental industry. We are excited about Detroit's revitalization because it provides the ideal setting for showcasing the city's distinctive features. Like New Orleans, Detroit has a rich French heritage and is located on an international border. We are proud to present to the world the rich foundation that its magnificent architecture, which spans many eras of American history, provides.
