My name is Keisha Shields, and I am delighted to take you on a journey through the remarkable chapters of my life. From the early years of my journey to becoming a professional tax preparer. the person I have become today, I have 13 years in this tax industry and some good defining moments, and experiences, and lessons that have shaped me into who I am. Following my passion for Tax Finance, I enrolled at University of Houston Downtown to pursue a degree in Law. My time at the university was transformative, as I developed deeper into my chosen field and expanded my intellectual horizons. Engaging in research projects, attending thought-provoking lectures, and collaborating with like-minded individuals further fueled my desire for knowledge and personal growth. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with exceptional individuals and being part of dynamic teams. These experiences have taught me the importance of collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning in achieving personal and professional success. Central to my identity are my core values of integrity, empathy, and resilience. I believe in treating others with kindness and respect, and I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of those around me.
